Loktak, an internationally acclaimed freshwater lake, is the soul of Manipur. In this detailed story walks through this maze of issues and attempt to explain the nature of the problems, especially the existential dilemma of the inhabitants of Champu Khangpok, the only recognised floating village of the Loktak lake.

Bomjir is one of the oldest villages located at the lower basin of the Dibang river under the Dambuk circle in Arunachal Pradesh. The river Dibang, one of the three main rivers that form the mighty Brahmaputra in the plains of upper Assam, is called Talo by the Idu Mishmi tribe.

It's in the Noklak district.  Mr. Pachim Chu from Noklak , Nagaland documented the oral story by expressing "It pains me as I jot lines about the living river".
